The Minobu area of the Southern Alps is located along the Fuji River, one of the three most rapid rivers in Japan. Kushigatayama, where you can easily enjoy mountain climbing at a height of 2,000 meters, and is loved by nature lovers.

The Setsubun-kai is unique in that it is divided into three separate bean-throwing ceremonies performed by His Holiness, a TV personality, and a Sekitori (a sumo wrestler). In spring, cherry blossom viewing ceremonies are held in various locations.
It should be noted that the area is a gourmet spot famous for its livestock, agricultural products, and wine. Koshu Wine Beef" and "Fujisawa Pork," raised with locally produced wine, are very famous for their tender meat, and the delicious water and unique feed give them their unique flavor.
In addition, Koshu Jidori chicken, various dairy products, and eggs are available at many tourist spots, making it a fun place to try different kinds of food.
Agricultural products include Mukawa rice, known as "milky queen," and a variety of highland vegetables. You can enjoy these foods at hotels and inns.
