Oishi Park

Beyond the lavender, the lake and Mt.

Located on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, this park offers seasonal flowers and a view of Mt.

Along with Yagisaki Park on the south shore, this park is famous for its lavenders. Lavenders start blooming in late June, and until mid-July, visitors can enjoy the view of the lake and Mt.

Hana Kaido (Flower Road)
More than 90 kinds of flowers can be seen along the 350-meter-long flower highway throughout the four seasons.
The colorful carpet of pink moss pinks from late April to early May, kochia leaves in autumn, and Niagara made of begonias are just a few of the colorful flowers that can be seen along the road.
In winter, the flowers do not bloom due to the cold weather, but when the weather is clear, a clear and beautiful view of Mt.

Lavender fields
Visitors can enjoy the open view of the lavender fields along the lakeside, Lake Kawaguchi, and the majestic Mt.

Kawaguchiko Herb Festival
Held from late June to mid-July, when the lavenders are in full bloom, the festival attracts many people to the specially set up tents with local agricultural products and food stalls.

Spectacular viewpoints of Mt.
Fuji. Famous for its scenic view of Mt. Fuji, with free parking, it is a popular spot for families on weekends and holidays, and a popular rest stop for travelers and touring cyclists.

Kawaguchiko Natural Life Museum
Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi at the cafe on the second floor, which makes use of natural materials.
